Threads and Brushes

My name is Clorissa Rickman of Junction City, Kansas. I am a US Navy veteran and a spouse to a proud USAF Veteran of 27 years!! We started Threads & Brushes while we were stationed overseas. Threads & Brushes was designed to celebrate the rich cultures from around the world through dolls, fabric, journals and jewelry. We work with a blend of papers, plastic, fabrics, wood and stones to create original culturally rich dolls. These are handmade cotton stuffed crochet and rag dolls. They have their own accessories(custom jewelry & clothing ). We’ve designed them with modern accents, such as tutus, tights, bows, etc… They are an eco friendly option as a decorative object or heirloom gift that can be passed down through generations! We believe art is therapy for the soul. A love of colors and textures has inspired us to share our skills across the globe. Our love of family and people are reflected in our creations.
