My name is Mari, and I am a Henna Artist. Art has always been a love of their life since childhood. I have been a henna artist for 8 years now, and this form has been one of many significant outlets allowing them to share creativity, uplift culture, and unify with communities. Henna/Jagua is applied paste used anciently and culturally as a way to adorn the body, embrace tradition, and retain spirituality and creativity of one’s self. Expression of their art abilities magnifies their inner love for self and motivates them to continue providing service in this way. Having grown in this journey, they've learned through different designs and styles of henna that with authenticity and consistency, one accesses opportunities toward infinite beauty and liberation while building the confidence to be a light for others to do the same. They are grateful for the energy and experiences their works of art have brought them into alignment with and look forward to the abundance ahead.
