Liney Blu

Kansas City singer-songwriter Liney Blu writes from a unique place of personal experience and identity. They vividly show us how vulnerability is strength and require us to see love, frustration, disappointment, and humor through lenses we may not have considered. Every song finds Liney passionately and sometimes bravely exploring a broader, more inclusive understanding of the human experience while letting us into some sacred personal spaces to do so. While many listeners are just finding Liney Blu, they set out on their path as a songwriter and artist as a teenager.

At age 17, then known as Caroline Blubaugh, she released EP, Green, which featured the single "San Francisco” that quickly saw 185K Spotify streams. In 2023 as Liney Blu, came a 2nd EP, Pennsylvania St. with bandmates bassist Renee Huey and drummer Jones Goldman. Pennsylvania St. is an introspective, sometimes raw, indie pop rock/folk synthesis built on innovative arrangements relentlessly pushed along by Liney’s deep, resonant vocal, subtly insistent delivery, and very personal passion.

11:00 AM

Lee Samson

Having formerly worked under the name BlckSamson, where he dropped his first solo EP Love Trilogy & the single “Jump.” Now, he goes by the name Lee Samson, which is Homage to his grandfather, the famous quartet singer, Lee Williams of The Spiritual QC’s. Lee Samson not only taps into his soulful heritage by carrying his grandfather’s name, but also by letting his southern spirit shine through his contemporary & alternative sounds of RnB, Soul, & Hip-Hop.

Currently, LEE is expressing his struggle for love through a string of songs dedicated to his debut album PHILOPHOBIA. In hopes of conquering this fear, and claim what were once familiar feelings, he infuses his new music by expressing his love for the alternative world of pop, R&B, and rock,  while still paying homage to his hip-hop and R&B core.

12:00 PM

Nox Holloway

At every turn, duality fuels NOX HOLLOWAY. Alternating between the radiating vibes of a

sun-soaked midday festival slot and the kinetic energy of a packed club, the Nashville-based

alt/pop duo live the push and pull through every note of their shape-shifting sound.

The group’s 2021 debut EP, If Only The World Didn’t Spin So Much – written during the

pandemic through texts, Zoom calls, and iPhone voice memos – accentuated the dichotomy between songwriters Bryce Vanhook and Parker Mathews, introducing them through trilling keyboards, soaring melodies, and intricately layered soundscapes.

Fans immediately took notice, pushing the set north of 3 million streams on Spotify while the songs found a home on coveted playlists like New Music Friday, Fresh Finds, Fresh & Chill, and New Noise. Simultaneously, outlets like Rolling Stone Australia and Wonderland were raving about their brand of pop, with the latter hailing Nox Holloway as “a fresh alt-pop duo wanting to bring people into their world of music.” Since then, they’ve played shows nationwide opening for acts such as KALEO, Surfaces, COIN, Echosmith, and the Unlikely Candidates.

Nox Holloway started 2024 with a bang releasing their sophomore EP Twenty Thousand Leagues in January. They are excited to play many of these songs live for the first time for their fans. Meanwhile, they’re working hard in the studio on even more new music. This year has a lot in store for Nox Holloway, so be on the lookout.
